Cottages Still Available

We are just wanting to update everyone on the status of available cottages at the Complexe Les Deux Rivieres. As of Friday April 17, 2009 there are still six cottages available within our block. But if you were to call the Complexe and just ask for a cottage they would tell you that they are fully booked. So the key to reserving a cottage is to tell them you are with the Sturgeon/Duplessie Wedding.

Bridal Shower Thank You

Here are some pictures from the bridal shower.

I would like to start off by saying thank you to everyone involved (Teri, Jen, Lois, Phyllis and many more) with putting the shower together. Teri, you are a gem. You pulled it off all the way from Calgary, and dragging two kids by yourself on a plane to get here. You give the words "Wonder Woman" a run for their money. It was wonderful and I couldn't have asked for more. I truly appreciated everyone coming and the warm wishes from those who couldn't make it. Ten and a half years have passed since Craig and I have been together and it is moments like this that you take the time to stop and realize how blessed you are to have so many loving and caring people around you.

Bridal Shower

Teri (Kerr) Dufour is hosting a Bridal Shower for me, Sunday April 05, 2009 from 1pm to 4pm at the Chatham Pioneer Senior Citizens' Club located on the corner of Water Street and Ellis Street (up stairs of the Chatham Farmers Market building).

Correction

We have a correction to announce regarding the telephone number for the Complexe Les Deux Rivieres. The number on our Accommodations Card is a 1-800 number, it should be a 1-866 number. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. ( I am feeling a bit like Ryan Seacrest, from American Idol, right at the moment. "...Remember these are 1-866 numbers, NOT 1-800 numbers. So please dial carefully...". What can you do but LOL. Sincerely, Marilyn)

Welcome to our Wedding Blog

Marilyn and I have created this blog for a couple of reasons. First, we want this to be a space where people can visit to find out more information about our venue location. You can find a custom google map with the coordinates to the Complexe Les Deux Rivieres. The Complexe has several cottages and they are in the process of building a small hotel that will be connected to the on-site SPA. You can also find additional accomodation information on the side bar. Second, we will be using the site to document our wedding plans as the big day gets closer and closer.
